PrintFollowing the great success of the 2013 event, the second Cirencester Children’s Literary Festival will take place from 28th July to 2nd August 2014.

Funded by the Bingham Library Trust and organised by Gloucestershire Library Service and Octavia’s Bookshop, the festival has just secured award winning children’s author and illustrator Liz Pichon to open the event.

A firm favourite for the Tom Gates series, Liz will be appearing in Cirencester Bingham Library on 28th July kicking off the week long festival which this year will also include two evening events for adults.

Plans are still being worked out for the week but events will be split between the Library and Octavia’s Bookshop in Black Jack Street, Cirencester, with a range of activities to suit all age groups; readings, illustration demonstrations and Q&A sessions for older children. All will finish with a book signing by the author.

PSPR is working on the events – both in a PR capacity and liaising with all the authors – a great job for a real bookish agency!
